Mirror salt (Salar de Uyuni)

The Salar de Uyuni, a vast salt desert in southwestern Bolivia, sits at an altitude of 3700 meters and was once the largest salt lake on the planet. During the rainy season, the partial saline layer of more than 15 meters thick, up to one meter, can be covered with water and becomes one of the largest natural mirrors in the world, so the salt is also known as mirror salt.
