Maple sugar is derived from maple juice, a sugary specialty produced in the southern regions of Canada and the northeastern United States.
Made with 100% pure maple syrup from the concentration of maple sap harvested in the spring, pure maple sugar is an excellent substitute for white and brown sugar.
Sprinkle it on cereals, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, desserts, plain yogurt, fruit … Try it in your cold drinks like iced tea and lemonade or in hot drinks like coffee and tea! Its unique taste is reminiscent of caramel and licorice.
