Our Green Pepper comes from the mountainous and forested coast of Malabar, in Kerala in southwest India. This region generally passes through the country of origin of the pepper. Here, it is cultivated by small farmers’ unions. The harvest is done manually between November and January, in an immature and carefully dried state. Green pepper has only been grown in this region since the end of the 20th century. Our Malabar Green Pepper has a fresh and pleasantly spicy flavor.
Green pepper is used for pork, poultry, seafood, fish or veal. it is absolutely necessary for the preparation of a French pepper sauce. Try our green pepper with fresh strawberries or ripe mango – a truly extraordinary flavor.
