This particular salt comes from Lake Assal, near Djibouti. The water of the lake, the saltiest in the world, with the backwash of the waves, combined with the action of wind and heat, polishes and “rolls” the salt to form highly pure salt spheres which, once formed, settle on the shore. Their shape is of incredible natural perfection.

It can be used anywhere, just like a classic salt. This finest caliber is used exactly as it is, like a flower of salt.

It is a very dry salt, which crunches under the tooth. It is considered, together with Himalayan pink salt diamonds and Persian blue salt, one of the purest salts in the world.

It is not refined, not iodized and particularly rich in minerals and trace elements, especially iron.
